Shiro Nyaga Imanyara is a lawyer by profession, but her passion for horse riding has led her to an unexpected yet fulfilling biz venture.
She founded Faraji Couture, specializing in horse riding apparel, gear, and accessories. Her products cater to both riders and horses, ensuring safety, comfort, and functionality.
"The pants, the tops that one wears are very specific to the equestrian world. They look a certain way, feel a certain way, and offer protection when riding," she explains.
"For instance, they have certain materials near the knees help riders grip onto the horse." Beyond apparel, Shiro also provides accessories for horses, such as riding saddle pads, which are essential for horse comfort and performance. Recognizing the growing horse-riding industry in Kenya, she saw an opportunity to cater to this niche market.

How Did She Start the Business?
