Setting It All Up: How to Create a Mini AI-Powered Content Machine

Okay, so we have the tools. Now all we need to do is get them to work together to make Carol’s job easier.

Here’s how to set it all up:

Step 1. Generate Post Ideas

Remember, kitu Carol ako nayo ni pics za “before and after” from past clients. Let’s say she picks 7 images from her gallery na anadai ku-create social content from those.

Apa ndo Copy.ai. Ina-come through big time. Ii AI tool Inaeza kupea content plan ya wiki mzima in seconds. All it takes is a detailed prompt.

Here’s one Carol could use:

“Generate 7 creative social media content ideas for a salon business based in Kenya — one idea for each day of the week (Monday to Sunday).

Each idea should use before-and-after client photos to promote the salon’s services.

The goal is to plan a full week of engaging content that highlights different services (like braiding, cuts, coloring, treatments, etc.), builds trust through real results, and encourages interaction (likes, comments, shares, or bookings).

Make sure the ideas are relatable to a Kenyan audience, easy to execute, and help attract new clients.”

Copy.ai itampea ideas kibao. All she needs to do is choose 7 ideas zenye zinamatch images anadai ku-post, then azicopy na azipaste kwa blank document.

Tip: If you’re following along, stay on the same chat you used to generate the ideas. You’ll need it for the next step.

Step 2: Create Captions and Hashtags

Now Carol needs to open ile document iko na post ideas, azi-copy zote, then azi-paste kwa the same chat alitumia for step 1 above. But before she hits enter, she needs to add this prompt:

“Write captions for each of these post ideas, focusing on the ultimate goal of maximizing bookings. Include appropriate hashtags for each post.”

Copy.ai itampea caption ya kila post na hashtags. Since ameipea goal, it’ll optimize the captions for conversions (i.e., turning followers into customers).

Pro Tip: Unaeza tumia the built-in AI-Powered image to caption... kuunda captions pia — the only issue is that the image needs to be online because it asks for the image URL.

Step 3. Design The Visuals

Next up is designing the visuals. Yes, ako na “before and after” pictures, but those still need some work to turn them into attention-grabbing flyers. Even if she prefers posting them as raw images, she probably still needs to clean up the background.

Canva Magic infanya izi vitu zote.

We’ve actually done an in-depth guide on creating promotional materials with Canva Magic, so I won’t go into that. Just check it out here.

Step 4. Schedule the Posts for Auto-Publishing

Ii ndo chance ya Buffer ku-shine. So far, Carol ako na images, captions, na hashtags for up to seven posts. Sa kitu imebaki ni kuzi-schedule such that kila post itakua published on the right day, at her time of choosing.

To do that, atasign up for a free Buffer account. Once ako in, she’ll need to follow these steps to schedule posts for each day (Monday to Friday).

For simplicity, acha tufanye process ya Monday— again, she’ll need to repeat this process to schedule posts for Tuesday, Wednesday, and so on.

A.Connect Her Socials.

To do that, ata click “Connect Your Channel”, then aselect platforms anadai ku-market biz yake (Free version iko na limit ya 3 channels, btw). After kuselect channels, atafuata the simple instructions amalizie ako ka-process.

B.Upload her Canva Designs

Unakumbuka designs aliunda na Canva Magic? Now she needs to upload flyer/design ya Monday’s post. Here’s how to do that:

1.Click “Create Post” (should be easy to see apo kwa dashboard)

2.Buffer italeta accounts aliconnect earlier— all she needs to do is select them.

3.Click “Add Image” and upload your design

C.Add Captions and Hashtags

The next order of business ni ku-copy zile hashtags na captions aliunda earlier. Remember, alikua ameunda for each day’s post. So now kitu anafaa ku-do ni ku-find caption na hashtags za Monday’s post, copy them, then azi-paste apo kwa captions box (right next to the “add image” button).

D.Schedule Monday’s Post

Kila kitu iko set, so all she needs to do is finalize the scheduling in three steps:

1.Find the “Schedule Post” icon — inakaa clock.

2.A calendar will pop up after ame-click the icon.

3.She chooses the date and time from the calendar and clicks “Schedule.”

Io post itakua auto-published on Monday, at the time she selected before clicking “Schedule.”

Akitaka ku-schedule post za the rest of the week, atarudia ii process ya scheduling, but ataanzia step “B” since asha-connect socials already.
