We’re launching a new experiment called “Biz in a Box” a hands-on project to see if we can help some MESHers with hustle spirit build a food business kutoka zero to something solid in just a few weeks.

We’re looking for 4 young MESHERS who are serious about starting a food business or already have one and ready to put in the work.

If you’re selected, you’ll receive:

🔥 A clean cook stove (jiko).

💰 KES 5,000 startup capital.

🤝 Mentorship to guide you.

Hakuna pressure ya kuwa perfect. It’s okay to mess up, to try things, and to learn along the way.

We want to document what works, what doesn’t, and what biashara really looks like on the ground.

In return, you must:

✅ Use the capital and your time to start and run the business within the set period (effort lazima na dedication).

✅ Attend weekly check-in calls with your mentor.

✅ Be available for calls with our researcher at the start and end of the project and for six weeks during the experiment

We’ll shortlist a few applicants and finally pick 4 MESHERS to join this pilot experiment.
