This man, the late Elkana Ongesa was a renown sculpturist. A gifted stone carver who put Kenya on the limelight for his beautiful soapstone and other carvings. An alumni of Kenyatta University and Makerere, those who studied Art learnt about his creative carving techniques. The country has lost a gifted artist, may he R.I.P🙏🏾
