- From rice you get rice bran for starch.
- From Wheat you get wheat germ as a by-product and feed for starch.
- From maize, you get maize-germ or husks for starch.
- From cotton plant you get cotton-seed cake as a protein and energy supplement for cows.
- From soya bean you get soy-bean oil cake for protein.
- From Omena you get ochonga as a good and cheap protein feed for animals.
- From Kichinjio/abbatoirs, you can get dried animal blood as a good source of iron for your livestock.
