How to avoid snail-infestation in a small organic garden
Hii mvua ni God-sent but with it comes the threat of fungal & bug infestation π πͺ² especially snails π that eat their way into every vegetative π₯¬ matter, causing havoc and ruining harvests.
Here are 5 ways of keeping your garden snail-free:-

Sprinkle coffee grounds around the base of stalks of plants βοΈ

Sprinkle crushed egg-shellsπ₯ to deter the slimy beings.

Put out a container of beer πΊ to attract snails and deter them frm accessing your plants

Coat the base of your plants with vaseline so that the pests can slide right off and prevent them frm chewing onto the leaves and stalks of the plants.

Mulch the base of your plants with seaweed-their salty content will naturally repel snails π
Works esp for organic small gardens, big farms will require large scale interventions.
