ANGORA RABBITS! The first time I saw these beauties were at a trade show in Kiambu County. So cute and fluffy were these rabbits, that they reminded me of Chihuahuas.
Each rabbit was being sold at 3,500 kes. They are famous for their luxurious, cloud-like fur that's softer than cashmere. These rabbits are bred for their wool and one rabbit can produce upto 1.4 kgs per year. That's impressive for such a tiny animal.
It's a nice business opportunity for those who raise animals on a farm.
