As we approach International Women’s Day, Voice of Dagoretti CBO was well represented by John Mwangi and Derick Sajir, who also serve as Community-Based Trainers in the SHESOARS Project on Youth Savings and Loans Associations in Dagoretti North.

They participated in a community clean-up activity organized by CREAW Kenya in partnership with Nairobi City County and the Kabiro Ward MCA Office.

The clean-up provided a great opportunity to bond with community members and strengthen our connection with the community we serve. During the activity, we also shared information about the different programs run by Voice of Dagoretti CBO, including our work on Gender-Based Violence (GBV) awareness, and how community members can access healthcare and legal support services in cases of GBV.
