Auditor General reveals that the National Housing Corporation has significant financial and administrative irregularities:

— The corporation has Sh3.2 billion in unsold houses, some of which were completed years ago. —There are no ownership documents for 48 parcels of land. —Out of 70% of its tenant purchase loans, amounting to Sh400 million, have been unpaid for more than one year —An Sh800 million factory building is registered in the name of the PS Treasury. —90% of its rural housing loans, amounting to Sh716 million, have been unpaid for more than one year.
