Feeding Habits:
Bedbugs are blood-sucking parasites that feed on the blood of warm-blooded hosts, primarily humans, but can also feed on other mammals and birds.
Life Cycle:
Female bedbugs lay eggs in sheltered locations, often in cracks and crevices. Eggs hatch into nymphs, which must take a blood meal before molting to the next stage. Adult bedbugs also require regular blood meals.
Persistence:
Even in vacant or seemingly clean homes, bedbugs can survive for extended periods, making them a persistent problem.
