BTW if you are planning to be a Kenyan Youtuber and you want to only target Kenyan audience(Language and content) please note that CPM rate for Kenya in 2023 has been $0.70 So for a 1M views you might not even make Kshs 100K So if u want to make money from content creation on YouTube in Kenya then video views or even monetized views is not the route to take. You either create content that target geographies that pay more CPM rates like Norway, Germany, South Korea (Check attached) or... The best; certainly not the easiest, way to make money as a Kenyan Youtuber is through brand sponsorships, product placement and endorsement. This is hard coz it requires that u have fairly large subscription or viewership stats... Or connections. Influencers can target this.
