Minimax Media is seeking young funky, cool and talented actors from Kenya and Uganda to join this exciting TV project. Please read carefully the information below and only submit if you fit the characters and criteria. Characters wanted
- 18 to 24 year olds but can pass as 16 year old high school kids.
- Should speak fluent English.
Character Bios
- Lorna (Female | Lead) Resolute and courageous, beautiful young lady with grit and a talent in rap, Lisa battles shyness and vocal expression.
Special attributes: Has short natural hair. Reminds you of a young Lupita Nyongo. She is athletic (slim built). Added advantage if you can sing/rap. (please indicate if you can in your application)
2.Alex (Male | Lead ) A delightful soul who prefers algorithms to the company of people, Collins’ heart beats around technology and comics. Beneath the veneer of his brilliance lies an apathy to the school system coupled with an arrogance fueled by his intelligence that isolates him further
Special attributes: Clean cut hairstyle. Looks geeky. Added advantage if you naturally wear glasses.
- Shanice (female | Lead) An ultra-diligent and studious student. Nandi is a lot to deal with, especially because of her quirks that tend to rub people the wrong way. Though Nandi may be irritating and unable to “read the room”, she is incredibly astute and her rigidity to the rules are what make her a formidable force in the group and school.
Special attributes:: Slick back, very neat hair. Very outgoing. Naturally bubbly. Sarcasm is a language for Nandi.
- Serah (female | Lead) A rebel without a cause, Sumu defies conventionality, the popular IT girl with an unwavering independence. But her controversial and wealthy upbringing casts a shadow of embarrassment which has tainted her soul, a reason for her rebelliousness which finds her always at detention.
Special attributes: Afro, stylish hair. Plucks flowers to tuck behind her ear (her signature look). Flashy. Always has something going on to make her stand out.Always chewing gum.

Eddy (male | Lead) A lanky misfit, with a dry/sarcastic sense of humor that can get him in trouble and/or generate lots of laughs. Boniface is super chill, loves good food and a good nap. He’s a mythomaniac - his innate intelligence to weave stories finds him telling a lot of exaggerated tales that are a cloak to hide a dark truth about his absent father. Special attributes: High fade hair type. Has emerging beards. He is tall and Lanky.Extrovert. Talks alot. Always has a solution to everything. Comical.

Simon (male) Solomon Bukka, aka Honorable, the cold and ambitious student strides through the corridors of Mvule High School with an air of calculated confidence. His clean-cut appearance—hair neatly groomed, blazer impeccably tailored, and tie perfectly knotted—commands respect. Solomon is a force to reckon with, his will and intellect are why he holds the esteemed position of head prefect.
