Does Insurance cover cars ruined by flooding?

There are 2 types of insurance covers for cars:

1. 3rd party insurance
2. Comprehensive Car Insurance.

The 2nd one is the one that covers damages resulting from natural disasters.

If your car is submerged in a parking lot, destroyed by a landslide, or damaged by floods, the insurance company will typically pay for repairs or, if the car is considered a total loss, the market value of the vehicle.
