Due to the rising cost of living and high cost of fuel, we decided to come up with this improved jiko which uses sawdust. It's very cost effective since it uses less sawdust suitably for rural areas. Sawdust is affordable and cheap. A sack of 90kg sawdust goes for ksh.30 and you can use it to cook for 3 days. Also when you light the jiko in the morning it burns the whole day without going off.
