Sometimes we think we are Daniel — the faithful one praying in the middle of the lions. But what if… sometimes we are the lion in the den?

What if we are the ones testing someone’s faith? What if our anger, pride, jealousy, or harsh words are the very “lions” God is allowing to surround someone who is praying?

In the story of Daniel, the lions did not devour him because God shut their mouths. The real miracle was not just Daniel’s safety — it was God’s sovereignty. Even the fiercest beasts had to bow to the authority of Heaven. And that is humbling.

Because it reminds us that no matter how strong we think we are, we are still under God’s command. The same God who protects Daniel is the same God who controls the lions.
