Having reared Pure kienyeji chicken for the last 5 years, and having kept Improved kienyeji for the last 4 months, I would say that anyone who wish to get into poultry farming, will quickly consider improved chicken from a business point of view, and pure kienyeji for your home and may be a few customers near you. Both have their advantages yes, but for business and growth, consider improved breed. They are fast growing and have the advantages of kienyeji, being hardy and can free range, and will give you both benefits of meat and eggs from one bird. I have both ( pure and improved) but an thinking of introducing my pure kienyeji customers to Improved, and immensely reduce the number of pure kienyeji. Growth wise, you love the development of improved breed as you can actually 'see' their growth in a week.
