Hello Guys
For the last few months did an open-source ride-hailing platform built on a simple belief: 100% Fare is 100% Fair, drivers should keep what they earn.
Unlike Uber or Bolt which take up to 25% of every fare, Sitwego runs on a subscription model — drivers pay a small fee and keep 100% of every ride. Two plans: Pay Per Ride, and Daily Unlimited.
The platform covers tuktuk, Cab, and Boda Boda.
What makes it different is the foundation: the entire codebase is open source, meaning anyone can inspect it, contribute to it, or build on it. That openness also creates a pipeline for new developers — SWEs, data analysts, designers, support staff — to get real production experience on a live platform serving real users.
Revenue from subscriptions is designed to be lean — enough to run the infrastructure and potentially fund a shared co-working space for contributors and drivers alike. What is your thought....
