2026 – How It Started
I started my teaching journey in 2026 when I began my Teaching Practice. Walking into the school for the first time was both exciting and challenging. I had learned many teaching theories at the university, but standing in front of real learners was a completely different experience. I was determined to do my best, even though I was nervous. Preparing my first lesson plan took me a long time. I wanted every lesson to be well organized and meaningful. I spent hours reading books, preparing teaching aids, and thinking about how to explain concepts in a way that learners would understand. Every day became an opportunity to learn something new about teaching, communication, and leadership. I quickly realized that being a teacher is more than delivering content. It is about inspiring learners, listening to them, encouraging them, and helping them believe in themselves. That understanding motivated me to work even harder.
2026 – How It's Going
Several months later, I can confidently say that I have grown both professionally and personally. I now prepare lessons more efficiently, manage classrooms with greater confidence, and interact with learners more effectively. I have learned how to use different teaching methods, ask engaging questions, and encourage participation during lessons. Teaching Practice has strengthened my communication skills, time management, and problem-solving abilities. Every lesson has made me a better future teacher. The positive feedback from learners and mentors has encouraged me to keep improving. Although I am still a student teacher, I now understand that growth comes through consistency, patience, and hard work. Every challenge has taught me something valuable, and every success has motivated me to keep moving forward. This journey is only the beginning. I look forward to graduating, becoming a professional teacher, and making a positive impact in the lives of many learners. I believe that every great teacher starts somewhere, and I am proud of the progress I have made so far. I will continue learning, improving, and serving with dedication because education has the power to transform lives.
