How protected are your innovative ideas (Intellectual Property)?

Steve Muikia young loans clerk at Cooperative Bank , noticed a gap in money transfer btw banks and came up with an innovation that is now called pesa-link.

He worked in the bank btw 2010-2015 and forwarded his idea to Kenya Bankers Association, Central Bank and other banks.

They took up his idea and implemented it without acknowledging him as the brains behind the idea. He has never earned a cent from his work.
