I got a call from a lady claiming she is from KRA and asks me if i have filed my returns and i say Yes'. she asks me if I got notification from them through SMS services and I tell her no, only through email. the lady further tells me that they are developing a new system that will allow customers to file returns and receive notifications through SMS. She goes ahead to read my ID number out to me and asks me if its mine and I tell her yes the ID no. is mine, she then sends me a code instructing me to use it next time i will file my returns. then she hangs up. shortly i see that my Fuliza is activated. It downed on me that these are con people. i try to log into my Mpesa but they started calling. ukitaka ku badilisha pin wana call, yaani hupewi hiyo time. they transacted 2000 from my fuliza acoount siince i had no money in my mpesa, Mshwari or KCBMpesa. safaricom says these people get our personal details from Huduma number. kaa rada, hii ni scam noma sana!!
