I made a huge mistake this year.
It's a mistake most of us are familiar with.
I broke consistency.
I broke my MMF.
At first, it was:
“This is the last one.”
Then:
“Just a pinch.”
Then another pinch.
And another.
Nothing dramatic.
Just small withdrawals here and there.
Until one day...
Dry.
Empty.
And the painful part is, I already knew better.
I've always known that breaking consistency is dangerous.
But knowing something and experiencing it are two different things.
That's how many things in life disappear.
Not all at once.
A penny at a time.
A little discipline here.
A little compromise there.
One exception.
Then another.
Until the thing you worked so hard to build is gone.
Consistency is boring.
But inconsistency is expensive.
Protect the habit. Protect the progress.
