I made my first KES 1000 in business by identifying a demand for street foods like smochas in my community. With a small initial investment, I started by sourcing or the product and promoting it through word of mouth and social media. My first customer was a good person who actually bought the mayai, chapatis and smokies to the people who were around, and that sale motivated me to keep pushing forward. I quickly learned that customer service and consistency were key to attracting more buyers. Instead of spending my first earnings, I reinvested in growing my stock and improving my service. This experience taught me that business success comes from identifying needs, taking action, and continuously learning from each step. #MyFirst1K
