I studied Software Engineering because I believed tech was my path to a better future. I worked hard in school, learned how to build apps, solve problems, and dream big. But after graduation, reality hit—Kenya's job market in tech is tough. Opportunities are limited, especially without connections or capital.
I kept applying, hoping for a breakthrough. Then someone offered me a chance to earn by selling airtime with commission. It wasn’t what I had studied for, but it was income—something to survive on while I figured things out.
Now I’m torn. Do I keep chasing the tech dream that feels far away, or do I accept the hustle in front of me and build from there? Maybe there's a way to blend both—to use my skills to create a smarter solution for small-time sellers like me.
I'm not giving up. I just need a push, a platform, a chance to turn my knowledge into impact. That’s why I’m here.
