I think I've cracked a piece of the code.
Hi there,
Recently, i've been thinking alot of about daily events and I think i've come out with some interesting ideas.
And I'd like to get your input.
1. Thinking
I think the idea of "thinking" is underrated
When's the last last time you just sat somewhere and put your mind to work?
Just thinking about your business, your relationships, your product... Just thinking.
Here's what I meam
Some-where around end of July, lights were out, phone at 2% and laptop had just run out of power.
Nothing to do but stare at the darkness.
I started to notice a few things (I'll share them sometime in future)
But one thing stuck out...
*information just came out of nowhere.*
............
What is the most important thing about my business? - customers
So I need is more customers? - not exactly
What do I need? - more loyal customers
Why not just 'more customers'? - because some buy and leave. Never to be seen again.
Why is that not good? - Because, 1. recurrying (comment the spelling) customers make you more money. 2. They tell others about your business.
- think of how many times you've told a friend to try out your favourite restaurant, smocha, movie. To watch this funny video... this is literally marketing for free bacause the business did nothing to get that new customer
- A consistent customer will do this for you. 3. They are more patient with you than one time customers. They are
Okay, how do I get more loyal customers? Do I really "get" them? - I don't think so.
So, what do I do to have more loyal customers? - I make them loyal, i think.
How do I do that? - think of a friend. How do you get loyal friends? - you talk to them and share events and information. You tell them of your wins and losses. You wish them happy birthday. You give gifts and therefore they give trust... give them stuff(not necessarily offers and gifts) and they pay you with loyalty
Okay, where does that even start? How do I even talk to them? - when you think about it:
-
Isn't that social media is? - A platform to be communicate with people. Tell them about you and your happy and sad times. Build an interest for them and them with you.
-
The save for the save guys on whatsapp were doing the same thing but they barely communicated with the person they saved. All they did was try to sell them stuff. (Which raises the sales guard and fewer will buy)
-
I've seen alot of podcasts recently and when you think about it, aren't they just meant to build trust. When you see how someone thinks and why they think it, aren't you more likely to trust them?
-
why do businesses collect emails on sign up and sometimes numbers? - probably to send you more information about them so they build trust therefore loyalty.
So, loyal customers are made from communication to establish trust? - I'd say yes
[Generally: you don't just want more customers, you want more loyal ones. But you don't just get them, you build them by establishing trust. Which social media makes possible (not just for selling)] ...............
When your bored, you think alot. Ideas to problems come up. Connecting the dots happens, allowing you to see links most never see.
I now believe the mind is truly amazing.
There's alot that you already know to grow your business but don't use them because most don't really take the time to think about it.
[Generally: take time and allow your brain to just think & connect dots. You might be amazed by what you discover.]
