I’ve been telling stories here at Mesh for a few months now, and if you’re struggling with storytelling, I get it.
I’ve been there too. Here’s what I’ve learned that might help:
Just start. Don’t wait for the “perfect” idea—write what’s on your mind.
Yes let it come out.
Make people feel something. A story isn’t about big words; it’s about connection.
Keep it simple. If you have to explain too much, it’s probably too complicated.
Show, don’t tell. Instead of saying “he was scared,” describe his hands shaking.
Your first draft will be messy. That’s normal. Editing makes it better.
Keep going. The more you write, the better you get.
Storytelling isn’t about being perfect.
It’s about sharing something real.
You’ve got this.
The best part is anyone can do it.
You just have to start
