Kenya's Socialite, Faith Makau a.k.a 'Amber Ray' has applied to Kipi(Kenya Industrial Institute) to have her stage name registered as a trademark.

The socialite, who has millions of followers on Social media, made the application under 3 categories: advertising, business administration and business management.

If successful, the trademark would grant her exclusive rights to use the name "Amber Ray' in relation to those services. Yaani, anyone who wants to use that name in a song, in marketing, or in any commercial way, has to pay her first. The name exclusively belongs to her brand so she can monetise it.
