Kenya's cooking oil makers say a new tax on vegetable oil will make many things more expensive.

—Cooking oil could cost 80% more.

—Margarine (250g) could jump 87.5% to Sh300

—Bread (400g loaf) might go up 14.3% to Sh80

—Even soap could be 50% more expensive.

—They also say this tax could hurt over 40,000 jobs in the oil industry.
