MY FIRST KISS!
I'll never forget it. People always say your first kiss is magical.
They talk about butterflies, sparks, and all that stuff. Mine? It didn't go like that at all.
I was standing there, nervous but excited.
My heart raced as I looked at her. She smiled at me, and I thought, "This is it. Don't mess it up."
I leaned in, trying to be smooth. My hands were sweaty.
My brain was screaming at me to stay calm. And then—
Hold on. You thought I was about to tell you everything?
Nope, it's not happening.
You see, I didn't kiss her. I froze. My mind went blank, and I panicked.
Instead of going for it, I yelled, "Do you like Ugali?" She laughed. I laughed.
I know it's not what you expected.
But here's what I learned: messing up, hesitating, or taking a step back is okay.
Sometimes, you need more time to figure things out.
That's precisely how writing felt for me at first.
My first try? Total disaster.
My sentences could have been more comfortable, my ideas didn't make sense, and nothing flowed.
But I kept trying, and over time, I learned a simple rule: KISS—Keep It Short and Simple.
Now, I want to help you with your writing.
Whether you're just starting you don't have to figure it out alone.
I'm building a group of writers—a community where we can learn and grow together.
