NAIROBI TRADERS COUNTING LOSSES:

It's troubling to see business owners heartbroken on T.V. after some of their shops were completely vandalised. Laptops, phones, high-end fashion garments, electronics and accessories, worth millions, were some of the items that looters made away with, following Tuesday's maandamano.

How does a business owner recover after such a terrible loss? Does insurance even cover some of these losses? Are we as Kenyans pushing away investors due to the high risk involved in operating a business in CBD? How can one cushion his business from such terrible risks?
