One thing adulthood never prepared me for is how often you have to start before you feel ready.
Apply before you feel qualified.
Build before you fully understand the architecture.
Speak before you have the perfect words.
Take opportunities before you know exactly where they will lead.
For a long time, I thought confidence came before action.
Now I think confidence is mostly a result of action.
You try. You fail a little. You learn something. You try again.
Then one day, you're doing things that once intimidated you.
That has probably been one of the biggest lessons in my journey through IT, software engineering, AI, and life in general.
You don't always need to have everything figured out.
Sometimes you just need enough courage to begin and enough discipline to keep going.
The rest has a funny way of teaching itself along the journey.
