Pruning In Melon

When the main stem reaches the desired number of leaves, prune off the tip of the melon plant to stop it from growing any taller.

The focus is now on the fruit and not growing any more leaves. Do not feed high nitrogen ( N) fertilisers, do feed with high potassium (K) fertilisers (organic or NPK).
