I am reaching out on behalf of my youth group, which has received funding of KES 320,000 from the Mastercard Foundation for an aquaculture project, specifically for fish production. The loan is to be repaid in monthly installments of KES 13,333.

This is our first time setting up fish farms, and the funds have been allocated as follows:

KES 120,000 for setting up fish cages in Siaya County.

KES 70,000 for establishing fish ponds in Mumias, Kakamega County.

Additionally, we currently operate a cyber café that also provides branding services, such as printing caps and T-shirts. We are now exploring other business opportunities to supplement the cyber café’s income, with the aim of supporting the monthly loan repayment and creating employment opportunities for our group members in Mumias.
