
The Auditor General revealed that the Ministry of Health paid Sh766 million in salaries outside the official payroll system, violating Treasury directives.
The Auditor also found that the Ministry spent Sh214 million to send 50 doctors to study Family Medicine abroad for two years.
However, there was no evidence that the course was not available in Kenya before the ministry approved training in a foreign institution.
