The first time I came to Nairobi from Kitale, it was a hassle getting a house to rent as per my budget and personal preferences. It took me almost a week just to find a good house as most residential buildings were either closed, or I had to trace the caretaker for almost 30 minutes only to be told that there is no vacancy. Then a thought crossed my mind, 'What if we had an app called HomeMe or something like that whereby all the residential houses around a region like Juja or Roysambu or Ngara for example were listed, with the phone numbers for the caretakers, the price ranges, the number of vacant houses per apartment, accompanied with photos?' Well, it's still a thought, but I think Nairobi as a city and its environs is growing fast enough, and soon we're gonna need something along this line. Just a thought!
