There is wisdom, and there is enlightenment.

Wisdom is basically clinging to the better extreme. Enlightenment is basically clinging to any extreme according to how circumstances demand.

A wiseman will teach about avoiding evildoers(people who do evil things) so that you won't be swayed away by their deeds.

However, an enlightened individual will teach you to keep company with evildoers with the intention of hoping they will get inspired by you and change.

As far as humans are beings, enlightenment is much better.
