When you get elevated in life, make new friends, but keep the old ones too. Don't be fooled by the glamour of a new level and forget those who toiled with you or helped you soar. If anyone ever played a role in shaping your new job, business, opportunity or personal growth, do not forget or ignore them. Find time to reach out to old friends who genuinely mean well for you. Don't shut them out or push them away. While at it, you will need to be very wise. Beware the old friends know you more than the new ones. They might help you or drag you, while the new ones may not be so trustworthy and reliable. Strike a strong balance between old friends and new friends to make your life progressive.
