Mesh is the first social media platform built for the hustle. It is built in Africa for Africans. Download the MESH App from the google play store or go to https://mesh.life/app on your browser. Open the app. Click on Create account and follow the steps.

Step 1: Open MESH, click login
Step 2: Click forgot password
Step 3: Enter you email (used to create your MESH account) and click continue.
Step 4: Check your email for a 4-digit code
Step 5: Enter the code and press verify (Use copy & paste function)
Step 6: Enter your new password (Make sure to note it down so as not to forget)
Step 7: Enjoy MESH

#4 What do I do if my password reset is not working?

Did you have caps on while resetting your password? This is a common mistake. Try turning caps off before resetting. If that doesn’t work, kindly contact our WhatsApp support line at +254114799684 so we can help you out.

#5 Can I promote my products or services in the community?

Please avoid overcrowding the timeline. Place no more than one post every hour. If you place multiple similar posts within a short time, it is possible moderators will remove your follow up posts and ask you to kindly spread out your posts more over time.

#6 How do I post on the newsfeed?

#7 What images can I upload on MESH, what size/quality?

#8 Can I upload videos?

The video feature is currently being tested by MESHERS! We will let you know when it is live for everyone.

#9 Where do I find opportunities, gigs and loans?

Loan, jobs or gig listed in the opportunity section of MESH, it has been verified by MESH. You can find the opportunity section at the top of the homepage.

Posts by members on the newsfeed by MESHERS are moderated but are not guaranteed to be legit. Please be mindful of scams.

#15 Someone from MESH reached out to me to make a downpayment for a loan. Is this legit?

There are scammers active who contact you via SMS, Whatsapp or phone pretending to be MESH. Please note that MESH and our partners will NEVER ask you for a payment for a loan, gig, job, posting or any other activity on MESH.

Please do NOT send any payment or share any personal information. Take a screenshot of the request and send it to our WhatsApp support line +254114799684 so we can take action against the scammers.

#16 How do I know if someone who is contacting me is a MESH employee?

We will only reach out to you via our verified WhatsApp line number +254114799684. On MESH, only people with a red “MESH” label next to their name are real MESH employees. If you are in doubt, please contact the Whatsapp number and tell us what is going on so we can help you verify the request. If you encounter someone impersonating MESH kindly report to us on our WhatsApp +254114799684.

#17 How do I spot a scammer?

Here is how you can spot a scammer:
1. They have a job/gig/loan offer that is too good to be true
2. They want you to pay money to get a loan, a job or a gig.
3. They request personal identifiable information like your ID number

#18 How do I report a scam/scammer?

If you encounter someone suspicious on MESH kindly report them. Click on the 3 dots on their post or profile and select (Report post/Report User). Our moderators will investigate and remove the member to avoid other MESHers being scammed. The person you reported will NOT see who reported them.

#19 How do I block a user?

If you no longer want to see content of a particular user or someone is bothering you, you can block them. Click on the three dots of their post and click “BLOCK USER” to block them.

#20 Why are my posts getting reported or removed?

Posts that are in violation with our community guidelines get removed.

Your post might be considered spam when you post several very similar posts within an hour to the newsfeed. To avoid getting posts taken down, spread them across a longer period of time and make sure each post is unique.

Or, your post might be considered a scam. If you are posting about a money making opportunity, please share as much detail as possible on your post – like the work someone is expected to do, the pay that is offered, and other details that help us to verify if a money making opportunity is legit.

#21 Does MESH do affiliate marketing? We would like to help you gain followers.

Yes please! Bring your friends. The more brilliant humans on MESH, the better the magic.

Just a heads-up: we don’t do commissions for referrals, but we love seeing the community grow.

#22 I have been on MESH for the longest time, why have I never gotten any gig?

Our product team is currently working on DM’s. While they are in development, these features are turned off.

Hatupendi kukuona ukiishia, lakini of course una right ya kuamua kudelete account yako na data zako zote anytime. Unaweza kufanya hivi kwa kwenda kwa Settings & privacy and clicking on the tab “delete account”.
